Taiwan's EVA Air promised on Friday that it will do its best to ensure a peaceful flight for the two pandas travelling from the mainland. A Boeing 747-400 jet will fly to Chengdu the capital of Sichuan Province to collect the pandas. The charter flight, complete with passengers and cargo onboard, will land in Taipei's Taoyuan International Airport on Tuesday afternoon. During the flight, the temperature in the cargo cabin will be kept at the level most suitable for pandas. Their handlers and veterinarians will be allowed to check on them. The airline is sending its best crew and will introduce panda-themed in-flight meals for the passengers.
